Closing Prayer
The Spiritual Ecology of the Soul
Infinite Spirit,
Thank You for the sacred life within us.
Thank You for every part of our inner landscape—
the places that are flourishing,
the places that are healing,
the places that are resting,
and even the places we do not yet understand.
Help us remember that we were never meant to become perfect.
We were meant to become present.
Teach us to replace judgment with curiosity.
Control with care.
Criticism with compassion.
And fear with love.
When we encounter the struggling places within ourselves, help us resist the question,
"What is wrong with me?"
and instead gently ask,
"What needs tending?"
Give us wisdom to know when to water...
when to prune...
when to protect...
when to reach toward another...
and when simply to rest.
Help us honor the seasons of our lives.
May we trust the spring when new things emerge.
May we celebrate the summer when life is abundant.
May we release with grace when autumn asks us to let go.
And when winter comes...
may we remember that quiet does not mean empty.
That dormant does not mean dead.
That even when we cannot see it...
life is still moving beneath the surface.
And Spirit...
help us remember one another.
May this community become a living forest.
May those who have strength offer shelter.
May those who need rest find shade.
May those who feel alone discover roots reaching toward them beneath the surface.
And may we carry this love beyond these walls...
into our homes,
our relationships,
our workplaces,
and our world.
Remind us that our souls do not need to be conquered.
They need to be listened to...
loved...
and carefully tended.
And through every season,
may we trust the sacred life moving through us...
around us...
and between us.
We are grateful.
We are connected.
We are becoming.
And so it is.
Amen.
