Sometimes we carry things longer that no longer serve us — old expectations, worries, self-criticism, habits, or simply the weight of too much going on.
In this guided journey, imagine entering a junkyard where what has outlived its usefulness can be left behind, and where something forgotten or discarded can be reclaimed in a new form.
There are no right or wrong answers. As each choice appears, notice what catches your attention first. You may clearly picture something, sense it, or simply choose the option that feels right in the moment.
1. The Gate
Ahead of you is the entrance to an old junkyard. The place feels unusual — quiet, almost expectant. You sense that you have come here for a reason.
As you approach, notice the gate. What kind of gate welcomes you inside?
2. Your Companion
The gate opens and you step inside. Almost immediately, a canine comes toward you. You realize there is nothing to fear. This animal knows you belong here and has come to accompany you.
Who greets you?
3. Where You Leave Your Burden
Your companion leads you farther into the junkyard. You know you have brought something with you that you no longer need to carry.
You are shown a place where you can leave it. What does that place look like?
4. What You Release
Now notice what you have been carrying. Whatever it is, you understand that you do not need to take it any farther.
What do you leave behind?
5. What Has Been Reclaimed
Feeling lighter, you continue into another part of the yard. Here, discarded things have been repaired, transformed, or made beautiful again.
Something is waiting for you to take with you. What are you drawn toward?
6. The Wellspring
As you make your way back toward the entrance, you notice people gathered together, laughing and enjoying one another's company. Nearby is a clear artesian wellspring.
You are invited to drink from its cool, pure water. What are you given to drink from?
