Easter Services - Living a Blessed Life. Jesus was the greatest life coach. Here are a few of his techniques for living a blissfully blessed life! Notes from today's message are below the video.

Here are the notes from today's message:
Beatitudes - a word created by Cicero meaning blissful blessedness
Matthew 5: 3- 9 +14
3. Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Humble, balanced self-esteem, one who serves / Citizenship in spiritual realms (belong). We are all one. We each hold a unique place in the cosmic jigsaw puzzle.
Want citizenship in spiritual realms? Be balanced, humble and of service.
When we are balanced humble and of service, we are blessed.
4. Blessed are those who morn, for they shall be comforted.
Those who are grieving are blessed because they are comforted.
Want comfort? Honor your grief.
When we honor our grief we are blessed with God’s tender compassion.
5. Blessed are those who are gentle (meek) for they shall inherit the earth.
Gentle/meek = compassionate without ego.
The tender, compassionate ones are blessed with abundance as it is their birthright.
Want abundance? Be compassionate.
When we express tender compassion, we are blessed abundantly.
6. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied.
Crave (hunger & thirst) goodness. Seek the next right thing.
Want guidance? Seek it. Look and be ready to receive it.
Those who seek the good in self and others and all situations are blessed because they are guided to goodness.
7. Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.
Unmerited favor. Compassionate forgiveness. Unburdened clarity.
Want unburdened clarity? Give compassion and forgiveness – even to those who have not earned it.
When we act with compassion and forgiveness, God sends unburdened clarity into our lives.
8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Innocent. (innocence = unburdened clarity from verse 7, goodness from verse 6, gentleness from verse 5, honor from verse 4, balanced self-esteem verse 3.)
The innocent are blessed because they perceive God’s presence.
When we return to innocence, we perceive God’s presence.
What a blessing to perceive God’s presence!!
9. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.
One who reconciles/bring together/harmonizes - adversaries/antagonists. God’s offspring – children. Beloved.
Want a close relationship with God? Bring Harmony!
Those who bring harmony are blessed because God claims them as His own!
10. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Receive hostility and ill treatment for doing the right thing. Judged, criticized.
Those who are wrongfully mistreated are blessed because they have rightful access to the heavenly realms. Shed hostility. Your blessings are elsewhere other than someone else’s approval.
Want access to heavenly realms, shed hostility.
When we shed hostility (even if we feel we are justified in being mad because we are being treated unjustly) we have access to the kingdom of God. . . . It’s God’s kingdom . . . Jesus is the king. We own our part of the kingdom. We have self-authority. Not driven by other’s opinions or mistreatment of us.
PS- Blessed are the Followers of The Way because they walk their ascension path with Jesus! May you experience blissful blessedness along the way!
