I’m sensing into my body.

What wants my awareness now?

I’m saying hello to what’s here.

I’m finding the best way to describe it.

I’m checking back with my body to see if the description ‘rings true’.
Is it OK to just be with this right now?

I’m sitting with it, with interested curiosity.

I’m sensing how it feels from its point of view.

I’m asking if it has an emotional quality.

I’m asking it “What gets it so _____?” Fill in the emotion or descriptive word.
I’m asking it what it needs.

I’m asking my body to show me how ‘all OK”
would feel.
I’m checking if it’s OK to stop soon.

I’m saying I’ll be back

I’m thanking my body and the parts that have
been with me.
(Note from Janice: Take your time with this process. Asking “why” activates the brain talking for the body part. “Why are you hurting?” The brain doesn’t have the knowing, just data and conclusions [judgment] based on that data. “Being” is the essence of focusing. Pain/discomfort reflects the body’s request for applied awareness. In order to spiritually move through a situation, we Acknowledge - Apply Deep Compassion - Allow - utilizing the "Focused Power of Patience".
